The first three days were bad. Over the next couple of weeks, the fog began to lift and I started to understand the concepts. Then I ran into CIDR subnetting (you don’t know what that is? You lucky dog) and cried for two days before it began to make a certain kind of sense. And now it is six weeks later and I’ve learned all I’m going to learn from a book. There is much, much, much more to know but that will come with work experience. For now, I’ve gotten all I can get.
I’ve scheduled the exam for Friday morning. By Friday afternoon, I will either have the Network+ certification … or it will be an epic FAIL.
I guess I could always try to make the World Series of Poker.
