The rest of the pics are on my Flickr page. I suppose I should stop messing around with my camera and start screwing up my Java project. I’ve put things off long enough. It’s time to get serious about procrastination.

That is one seriously handsome cat!
)
She looks so fierce in the close-up – it’s my new favorite picture of her. I just took it this morning. She looks big and fat and mean … but she only weighs 7.5 lbs
One other question that has nothing to do with TFC – about the elections. So, in the primaries you have to pick a party and vote for one of their candidates you want to run in the state-wide election, right? What if, -just assuming-, 99% of the people in one state pick the same party? Is there some kind of mechanism to avoid that?
In the primaries, you’re only allowed to vote in one party’s primary or the other. This prevents people voting for who they want from their party and then voting for the most incompetent person in the other party.
During the REAL election, you’re not obligated to vote for the same party, though.
I don’t think there is a check to see if everyone in the state votes for one party, because that’s a very improbable scenario. If it did happen, though, that 1% would be throwing their vote away in the real election, because the other 99% would sweep the state.
Thanks, Stuck. That kinda makes sense
There couldn’t be a check to ensure that not everyone voted for the same party – otherwise it wouldn’t be a free election. There’s no way we could say, “Oh, hey, most people are voting in the republican primary, so Stuck needs to vote in the democrat primary.” Like Stuck pointed out, it is unlikely that such a lopsided election would happen, but if it ever does, then the outcome would have to stand because that’s what the people voted for.
It would be a free election if you checked afterwards, but you’re right, it doesn’t matter anyway. I guess I was just not awake enough this morning
Ah, ha… playing hooky. I’ve been wondering where you are. Seriously.
Love the photos, by the way.
