Out of the 336 posts I just imported, there are probably only 50 that I want to keep. In the next several days I will be getting rid of lots of clutter and junk. I’ll save the Conversating with Cartman posts and maybe a rant or two. Otherwise, this is going to be a different blog – a lean, mean fighting machine.
Or not.

That Mr. WordPress really gets around, que’ no?
You do not know my secretagent39 link. It’s from my education blog that I just started and I’m currently logged in to wordpress.
I got your message.

Gracias!
You still workin’ on this thing, or what?
Natalie
I can’t decide what to do or how to do it. Blogger was easier in some respects. I still haven’t decided if I should import the old blog or not. Ah well … I have time.
Ah ha! There you are. I think you should import.
Sometimes… you just don’t know until you know and, hey, that’s okay! I was going to suggest you import, if only to not have to redefine stuff, and then you could delete whatever you wanted. Sounds like you got there on your own.
WordPress is really different than Blogger but once you get used to it, I actually think it’s easier. I’m not good at writing code and WordPress has lots of widgets and extras that just do things for you. Also, you can email them and they’ll help you. Also, this woman is very, very helpful:

I just added a translator to my education blog and it was really easy because she had all of the code and instructions. I highly suggest you take a look at her very popular and helpful blog.
The other things I like about WordPress are that you can see your stats, have stronger admin control, can change the template on a whim (and quite easily and they are nicer), and the upgrades are very inexpensive.
My partner has just used their open source to start a blog service linked to her dot com site for kids. It’s really cool.
So, lots more features. There are some limitations and many of the templates have broken links but I just emailed their support and they helped walk me through the problems.
If you get stuck on something, ,email me and I’ll try to help or I’ll ask my partner. She’s really good at the hard stuff.
Thanks Natalie! I need to take some time to figure out how to do everything here. It’s different from blogger, that’s for sure.
The one thing I don’t like is that I can’t add scripts, which means my site meter won’t work properly. But I suppose that is a problem I can live with for now.
Wende, as you can see, I imported. I couldn’t give up my Cartman posts LOL
Thanks for the invite!! I like the new place, & I, too, am currently at blogger & looking forward to see how you like this to see if I want to switch – LOL.
Welcome Tug
There is a lot I like about wordpress. I love being able to change the template quickly. I must have changed it 20 times yesterday. It will take some time to adjust but I’m pretty happy with it. I’m just waiting to see how long it takes an admin to tell me to change the blog name. lol
Flickr deleted my Prince picture. I credited it and everything but they took it down anyway.
Um, you should be able to upload photos to wordpress without using a flickr account. Just sayin’.
Wende, good to know! It’s nice to have a place online to keep my pictures, though.
The Prince pic was on the other blog. I didn’t even get a warning email or an explanation. They just deleted it. Argh.
In a word, foundered means: lame.

This happens if their feet aren’t properly taken care of and, to keep this short, basically, they can’t support much weight on their feet.
So, they thought Penny was lame and I didn’t think I’d be able to ride her… ever.
You’ll find out about that in the next installment.
My partner said to just get another counter. There are lots…. and WordPress doesn’t allow scripts because it’s not safe for them or for you. She recommends StatCounter… or simply use the blog stats on this blog. I actually like it because it doesn’t count me. I can run up stat counts like you wouldn’t believe.
Anyway, that’s the poop on foundered and scripts.
An unlikely pairing.
I ditto Secret Agent’s partner: StatCounter is the best.
